The Yamaha Ginza store’s cafe lounge, “NOTES BY YAMAHA,” has been renovated to serve as both a cafe lounge and a mini-concert space, offering a high-quality musical experience. It will reopen on Friday, April 3rd.

Yamaha Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") will renovate a portion of the cafe lounge "NOTES BY YAMAHA" on the second floor of its flagship store, Yamaha Ginza Store (7-9-14 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo), and reopen it as a cafe lounge and mini-concert space on Friday, April 3, 2026.

"NOTES BY YAMAHA" is a lounge space where you can enjoy drinks and food themed around music culture. The adjoining library houses a diverse collection of approximately 700 books designed to stimulate your curiosity about sound and music.
This renovation will introduce our new "Disklavier™" piano with automatic playing function, allowing you to enjoy the power of performances by renowned pianists through automated playback. Furthermore, the space will be transformed into a mini-concert venue where you can enjoy live performances of piano, orchestral instruments, and other instruments.
Through the diverse experiences offered by "NOTES BY YAMAHA," we aim to strengthen our connections with performers and music students, and contribute to the further revitalization of music culture.

Overview of the renovation of the cafe lounge "NOTES BY YAMAHA"

1. Recreate the masterful performances of renowned pianists with immersive automated playback, providing an opportunity for a high-quality musical experience.

The Disklavier™ piano with automatic playing function will reproduce the performances of jazz pianist Chick Corea, who has made a tremendous contribution to the music world and won 27 Grammy Awards; Alan Menken, who has composed music for numerous films and stage productions and has won numerous awards including 8 Academy Awards; and George Hariono, who has performed with orchestras and conductors around the world since his solo recital debut at the age of 9. The Disklavier™ is a hybrid piano equipped with an automatic playing function that uses our proprietary high-precision digital control system to reproduce the delicate touch of the keys and the movement of the pedals with extreme accuracy. You can enjoy the realistic sound of an acoustic piano as if the performer were right in front of you.

2. A space where you can enjoy live music while savoring drinks and other refreshments.

Live music performances are now possible on the "NOTES BY YAMAHA" stage. We plan to hold a series of mini-concerts featuring piano and orchestral instruments in the future. Enjoy a relaxing time with food and music in a tranquil and intimate space with a maximum seating capacity of 40.
