What is "Maneki Neko Day"?
Since it is said that the beckoning cat invites good fortune, the Japanese Maneki Neko Club, which is a group of beckoning cat lovers, has established a pun that reads 9 and 29 as "Kurufuku". Maneki Neko, known as a lucky charm unique to Japan, is said to invite good luck when raising the right hand and invite customers when raising the left hand, and has been widely loved by the common people. The purpose is to appeal the charm of the beckoning cat and invite many people for good fortune.
