The first "GINZA 456 & TeamLab: Walk, Walk, Walk Home"
After the state of emergency is lifted-mid-April
As the world is divided by the new Corona, even when you have to stay home, for the power of "communication" and "creativity" to realize that your existence is connected to the world, and To congratulate the world on being connected, KDDI and TeamLab have started this project.
The TV in your home will be art. Participate from GINZA 456 and home and connect with the world. Furthermore, the basement of GINZA 456 will be a huge work space created by people who are connected to the world.
The characters you draw will start walking on the TV of homes around the world in a row with the characters drawn by people all over the world. In addition, we will walk the basement of GINZA 456 life-size.
With the power of "communication" and "creativity", we will turn imagination into experience.
No matter where you are in the world, you can draw a character on paper and take a picture, draw a character on your smartphone or PC, upload it, and walk in real time on YouTube with the character drawn by people all over the world. Take out. If you connect your home TV to YouTube, your home TV becomes art. Also, start walking in GINZA 456. When a new character starts walking, the name of the town where the character was drawn will be displayed.
And even with GINZA 456, if you draw a character on paper or a smartphone in the same way, it will become a life-sized character and start walking. At GINZA 456, you will continue to walk in a row with characters drawn by people all over the world. When you touch the character, the character reacts and sometimes stops. (From the cancellation of the state of emergency to mid-April)
In Zen language, there is the word "hohokore dojo". The character you drew will continue to walk endlessly in a single line with the characters drawn by people all over the world while confronting various things.

The second "GINZA & 456 TeamLab: Borderless group butterflies to catch and collect"
Mid-April to late May
We believe that the world brought about by 5G is a borderless world. As with the boundaries of the world and the boundaries of language, the boundaries between the real world and the digital world will disappear. KDDI and TeamLab have started this project to experience such a future.
In other words, until now, the world with your body was separated from the real world, and the world inside your smartphone was separated from the digital world. The digital world enters through the screen of a smartphone. However, in the borderless world brought about by 5G, the boundary between the real world and the digital world disappears.
This time, "Catch and collect borderless group butterflies" exhibited at "GINZA 456" is based on the concept of "catch, observe, and release", and explore, discover, catch, and catch yourself with your own body. This is a new learning project that focuses on expanding interest in the wake of things. Use the GINZA 456 dedicated app on your smartphone to explore, catch and observe various types of butterflies, and create your own collection pictorial book.
Butterflies move between the world where your body is and the world inside your smartphone without boundaries.
With the power of "communication" and "creativity", we will turn imagination into experience.

[TeamLab]
Art collective. Started activities in 2001. An international interdisciplinary group exploring the crossroads of art, science, technology and nature through collective creation. It is composed of specialists in various fields such as artists, programmers, engineers, CG animators, mathematicians, and architects.
TeamLab wants to explore the relationship between itself and the world and new perceptions through art. People divide the world into pieces for recognition and see them as independent with boundaries. I am seeking to cross the boundary of that cognition, the boundary between myself and the world, and the boundary of cognition for the continuity of time. Everything exists almost miraculously on a long, long, unbounded continuity.
Held permanent exhibitions and art exhibitions around the world, including New York, London, Paris, Singapore, Silicon Valley, Beijing, Taipei and Melbourne. Opened "teamLab Borderless", a museum without a map, in Odaiba, Tokyo. Until the end of 2022, "TeamLab Planets" is being held in Toyosu, Tokyo. In November 2019, a new museum "teamLab Borderless Shanghai" was opened in Huangpu Hamae, Shanghai. In June 2020, the permanent exhibition "teamLab SuperNature Macao" software opened in Macau.
TeamLab's work includes the Art Gallery of New South Wales (Sydney), the National Gallery of South Australia (Adelaide), the Asian Art Museum (San Francisco), the Asia Society (New York), and the Bolsan Contemporary Art Collection (Istanbul). Permanent collection at the National Gallery of Victoria (Melbourne) and Amos Rex (Sydney).
teamLab is represented by Pace Gallery, Martin Browne Contemporary and Ikkan Art International.
