Contemporary art excavation gallery “Palpitou” grand opening in Ginza area on Thursday, March 3

Lune, a contemporary artist from Beijing, exhibited for the first time in Japan. The first exhibition "Namito x Palpito" will be held until April 6th (Wednesday)

Palpitou Co., Ltd. will open the art gallery "Palpitou" on March 3rd (Thursday). Along with the opening, a special exhibition "Namito x Palpito" by contemporary artist Lune (reading: Rene) will be held until April 6th (Wednesday). This is the first time that her work has been exhibited in Japan, and this special exhibition was realized with the sympathy for Palpitou's feelings.

At Parpitou, we will exhibit and sell works of contemporary artists from Japan and abroad, such as art toys, paintings, and sculptures, within easy reach. The etymology is the Latin word "Palpito" (translation: excitement and excitement born from strong emotions), and it was named because we want visitors to come across exciting works. Art is not just for galleries and art fans, it is natural for everyone, and it enriches our lives. We will send out the latest contemporary art from the land of Tokyo, hoping that "touching art and welcoming your favorite works to your home" will become a daily routine.

In addition, this gallery will provide exhibition space, propose collaborations, and support the development of goods for the success of contemporary artists. The Japanese art market has a low share of the world market, and it is difficult for artists to play an active role commercially. By contracting with an artist, we would like to create an environment that makes it easier to disseminate information and export talent to the world. In the future, we will strive to discover and discover next artists, aiming to contribute to the bottom-up of the Japanese art scene.

・ Special exhibition "Namito x Palpito"

For the first time in Japan, we will hold a special exhibition by contemporary artist Lune, who has roots in Beijing and has sublimated his creative sensibilities into art by traveling to France. The masterpiece "Namito" is a rabbit character that was born with the inspiration for life as a result of his own birth. As the daily life of corona and anxiety continues, Lune's rich facial expressions and color expressions are convinced that the world will be brightened, and this invitation was made. At the special exhibition, 31 works including the works that will be unveiled for the first time will be exhibited, and some works can be purchased.
