■ What is the "Starry Sky Reserve Certification System"?

The "Starry Sky Reserve Accreditation System" accredited by Kozushima is an international accreditation system that honors excellent efforts to protect and preserve the dark and beautiful night sky that is not affected by light pollution. The International Dark-Sky Association began its activities in 2001 and has protected the night sky over 100,000 square kilometers in total around the world. It is not just a place where the stars can be seen beautifully, but the purpose is to protect the night from light pollution, so it is a condition of certification that the darkness has reached the standard value by taking measures against light pollution.
