[Ceramics] Shinno Iwao Celadon Ribboned Vase (Diameter 16.6 x Height 27.2 cm) 39 holders of Important Intangible Cultural Properties (Living National Treasures) in the five fields of crafts: pottery, dyeing and weaving, lacquerware, metalwork, and wood and bamboo work will be exhibiting their works. Seiko House Hall will be holding the "Craftsmanship and Kôgei Creation – Living National Treasures Exhibition" from April 3rd (Thurs) to 20th (Sun). This exhibition, which is held every spring and brings together works by important intangible cultural property holders (living national treasures) in five craft fields, will mark its 10th anniversary. "Living National Treasures" is the colloquial term for "holders of important intangible cultural properties."

Ginza Wako will be holding the actor and watercolor painter Takaaki Enoki's first solo exhibition at Wako from March 13th (Thurs) to 23rd (Sun) at Seiko House Hall. Takaaki Enoki has traveled all over the world, and with a desire to paint the wind he feels on his cheeks, he consistently completes his paintings on-site, right down to the coloring.
