The "Ginza Town Flower Giving" event, which started as part of GINZA SOCIAL ACTION, will be held on December 2nd (Saturday) at Sukiyabashi Park and Tokyu Plaza Ginza.
This event aims to allow as many people as possible to experience the "joy of receiving flowers, the joy of giving them, and the joy of decorating them" by handing out two flowers free of charge to visitors in Ginza. The event was designed to raise awareness of flower loss and encourage new purchasing opportunities by letting people experience the charm of living with flowers.
Ginza is a city that has created many encounters with people throughout its history. Through the act of “receiving and giving flowers'', we would like to convey the fun and importance of real communication, and convey the charm of Ginza, a city that has created dramas that occur when people actually meet.
We will hand out two flowers to the visitors. One for you and one for a loved one.
Two flowers will be given to attendees at each venue free of charge. One bottle will be given to you and the other to your loved one. Through this activity, you can experience the joy of receiving flowers, the joy of giving them, and the joy of decorating them. We will send you fresh gerberas instead of discarded flowers.
A pressed flower card workshop will be held at the same time<br />For the second time, we will collect Ross flowers from flower shops in Ginza in advance and reborn them in the form of pressed flowers. At the workshop, you can freely paste pressed flowers onto cards, create original pressed flower message cards, and mail them to your loved ones from the venue.

Social Contribution Activities -GINZA SOCIAL ACTION The connection between Ginza and Tohoku and the history of holding this event <br />Ginza held the "Yappa Ginza Dabe" event from 2013 to 2019 as an activity to support recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake. It has been held several times. The event was postponed from 2020 to 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic, but it was revived last year as the "Ginza Town Flower Gift" event, and this will be the second time this event has been held. Ginza is holding this event as part of the city's social contribution activities, inheriting the attitude and spirit of the city's recovery support activities: keeping a close eye on social issues and taking immediate action where possible.
Some of the flowers used are grown in the Tohoku region <br /> Some of the approximately 5,000 flowers distributed at the Sukiyabashi Park venue and Tokyu Plaza Ginza venue will be grown in the Tohoku region at the Tokyo flower market. We will distribute cultivated gerberas.
Flowers will also be distributed at Taimei Elementary School and Ginza Junior High School <br /> Approximately 2,000 flowers will be distributed to local schools in Ginza and hand delivered to each student. I would like to convey the charm of flowers to children as well.
