Venchi is a chocolate brand that was founded in Piedmont, Italy in 1878.
For over 145 years since our founding, we have upheld the philosophy of "making chocolate an art form," pursuing the purity of our ingredients and the refinement of our recipes. That philosophy still lives on in every piece of chocolate and every bite of gelato we offer.
Venchi's iconic Ginza flagship store will reopen on June 24, 2026, after renovations. Located in Ginza, one of Tokyo's most sophisticated cultural districts, the store will be reborn as a space infused with Italian design and playfulness, six years after its first store opened in Japan in 2019, in order to further evolve the brand experience that Venchi has built up.

The Ginza store has adopted the latest "Chocogelateria" concept. The moment you open the door, you are greeted by an art piece of gelato cone crafted by a Florentine artisan. The space, with its palladium finish and wall pattern inspired by gelato spoons, blends Italian sophistication with a modern sensibility.
In the center of the store is the "Chocoviar Wall," a unique feature found only at the Ginza store in Japan, where you can see and taste the brand's signature chocolate, "Chocovia," which is coated in small chocolates reminiscent of caviar. Furthermore, you can enjoy the playful space with the "Bar Chocolate Wall," which is adorned with a wide variety of chocolate bars, and "My Venchi Mix," a chocolate weighing corner where you can select from more than 40 flavors.
Ginza store exclusive gelato, "Matcha Tiramisu"
To commemorate this renewal, a limited-edition flavor, "Matcha Tiramisu," will be available exclusively here in the world.
Tiramisu, a quintessential Italian dessert, and matcha, a symbol of Japanese food culture. The encounter between these two creates a taste of surprise and harmony. Using fragrant matcha from Ippodo Tea Shop, a specialty Japanese tea shop in Kyoto, the richness of mascarpone and the subtle bitterness of matcha are delicately layered together.
The texture of the finger biscuits and the smooth, melt-in-your-mouth quality only gelato can offer. The rich aroma of matcha. With every bite, the aesthetics of Italy and Japan resonate together.
For pairing, we recommend the strawberry gelato, "Strawberry Stracciatella." The sweet and sour strawberries, along with the crisp texture of the milk chocolate, enhance the depth of the matcha flavor, inviting you to a whole new world of taste.
