■Planned series “the foundry”

"The Foundry" is an exhibition series that introduces young artists who are challenging themselves to create expressions that combine traditional Japanese crafts and contemporary art.
Originally, Japanese art also had the aspect of being a tool for daily life. As daily necessities and furnishings, they incorporated seasons and ideas into a room, gently differentiating and enriching everyday life. This series is an attempt to re-present to modern society the implementation of such daily life in order to live a rich and comfortable life.
Ginza was once a place where silver coins were minted and used as a lubricant for life during the Edo period.
Using traditional Japanese techniques and the expressiveness of modern art, we will create Japanese art as a form of practical beauty. This is the beginning of a quiet challenge.
