This fifth edition introduces the world of Kumiko Kimura, who has sublimated knitting into beautiful jewelry. Kumiko always gets ideas from words. Rather than relying on knitting patterns, jewelry is made by capturing feelings, nostalgic memories, people you've met, scenery at that time, and various other things, and eventually grows into something unique to the person who picks it up. A string of small beads is like a gentle seed that connects people and time. An autumn night where you will encounter a special charm.

・What is [Gap Night-Sukimanite-]?
Sukimanite is a towel specialty store, "FUJITAKATOWELGINZA," which opens its doors after opening.
This is an irregularly held night gallery where you can enjoy a small space with creators, craftsmen, and artists.
As the night sets in, wander into Ginza and find yourself in a playground for adults. A two-night feast created by all participants, makers, and sellers together. This is a place that provides a special experience in which, through empathy and support, things cease to be just objects and the tension of feelings expands.
・FUA accessories
This knitted jewelry is created in a gentle way, using thread so fine that it can barely be scooped up with a crochet hook. The works that are created from the words she encounters at random times seem to embody Kumiko's inner feelings. The thread used is the same as used for wedding obi embroidery, and is said to be durable even after 100 years. It seems that vintage beads and French beads were once used, but they changed to Japanese beads because they wanted them to be passed down. It seems strange to see something made with a nervous mind. There's a rule that you don't make something when you don't feel like it. This jewelry is filled with gentleness, as evidenced by our belief that we never cut the threads of wedding jewelry.
It seems that it took a long journey and many wonderful encounters to transform the knitting that had been with me since childhood into jewelry. Now, with the addition of Mr. Ochimizu and Mr. Tabita, who play a part in FUA accessories, Kumiko says her world has expanded even further. The team working on the production even introduces their friends to create a homely atmosphere.
One of the appeals of FUA accessories is that they can be used in a variety of ways depending on the imagination of the person who picks them up, such as having fun layering them or changing the parts of the earrings to make a brooch. If it becomes frayed, you can have it repaired. It is a piece of jewelry that you can spend time with as a part of yourself.
