“MANGA in New York presented by Ginza Sony Park Project” will finally be held in New York, USA from next Friday, the 27th! From Saturday, October 28, 2023 to Monday, November 6, 2023, you can experience the atmosphere of "MANGA in New York" at Sony Park Mini (Ginza, Tokyo). You can actually hold the original manga drawn for this exhibition, which can only be read at the New York venue, and enjoy videos of the local New York venue.

"MANGA in New York" is a new experimental exhibition that will be undertaken by the Ginza Sony Park Project for the first time overseas, ahead of the launch of the "New Ginza Sony Park" scheduled to be completed in 2024. Together with six groups of artists, we created six original manga stories based on six themes extracted from Sony's Purpose & Values (*): "Pioneer," "Dreams," "Diversity," "Creativity," "Curiosity," and "Sincerity." did. At the venue, a gallery in the Chelsea area of New York, you can enjoy a unique and curiosity-stimulating experience that goes beyond simply reading manga by combining these original manga with Sony's technology.

During the exhibition period in New York, Sony Park Mini will be a satellite space where you can feel the atmosphere of "MANGA in New York", and you can hold the original manga that can be read at the New York venue. In addition, you can experience the local situation through live photos and videos sent from New York.

Furthermore, at the Nishi Ginza Parking Lot Coffee attached to Sony Park Mini, customers who purchase a drink will receive their choice of one of six types of stickers cut out from six original manga scenes. (Limited quantity, ends as soon as it runs out).

The creators of the manga are Hikaru Ichijo (illustrator), Katsuya Terada (illustrator/manga artist, animator), Kazuki Takakura (artist), Masanobu Hiraoka (director/animator), and others who have enlivened the cultural scene with their various expressive methods. There are 6 artists: Miku Masuda (illustrator/manga artist) and millennium parade (artist). Only at the New York venue and Sony Park Mini can you read the unique manga drawn especially for "MANGA in New York." Enjoy the atmosphere of the New York venue.
