Hibiya Nakadori Street will change color to "Sunset Gold" from Thursday, December 26th
Tokyo Midtown Hibiya will continue to hold "HIBIYA Magic Time Illumination 2024", which is based on the concept of "magical moments", even after Christmas ends, until Friday, February 28, 2025. In addition, from Friday, January 10, 2025 to Monday, February 24, 2025 (national holiday), a new lighting content, "HIBIYA WELCOME ROAD", will be developed in the large staircase area of Hibiya Step Square.
At "HIBIYA WELCOME ROAD," an illuminated arched gate welcomes you with a message of hospitality and a bright start to the year. Once you pass through the gate and walk up the red carpet stairs, a giant "welcome HIBIYA" object will appear before your eyes, where you can enjoy taking photos. The glittering grand staircase is decorated with rainbow gradations that represent the entertainment district of Hibiya, and the flowing design on the upper steps is meant to "rise" the spirits and fortunes of all visitors. It will provide hospitality to all who visit and create a glamorous time.

Additionally, starting Thursday, December 26th, HIBIYA AREA ILLUMINATION will change the color of its illuminations to a "sunset gold" theme on Hibiya Nakadori Street. The warm light reminiscent of the lingering sun will bring a new look to the streetscape, creating an atmosphere perfect for a winter stroll.

At Hibiya Step Square, a giant straw art piece by artist Yuma Matsumoto will be exhibited during the same period as the "Food and Living" event, which will be held at Tokyo Midtown Hibiya from Friday, January 10 to Sunday, January 19. The dynamic, approximately 4-meter-tall sculpture, made from natural materials, is impressive during the day, and at night, it will be illuminated to create a fantastic sight.
