Matsuya Ginza will celebrate its 100th anniversary on May 1st, and is planning various events throughout the year. One of these events will be held for one week from Wednesday, April 9th in the basement food section, titled "Meat Gourmet Gathering! Matsuya's Meat Activity in GINZA."
As a highlight of the event , we will collaborate with the famous beef bowl restaurant "Matsuya" for the first time to develop Matsuya Ginza exclusive products that focus on domestic ingredients . In addition, we have many other products that focus on ingredients and sophisticated brands that are unique to Ginza .
Please come and enjoy the "Meat Activity" that can only be experienced during this period at Matsuya Ginza .

Beef rice "Matsuya"

Matsuya Foods was founded in 1966 and operates a chain of restaurants including Matsuya, which sells beef bowls, curry, set meals, and more.
This time, the collaboration between the two Matsuya restaurants was realized due to the fact that they share the same company name . This project was once abandoned due to the impact of the coronavirus, but it was finally realized after six years of planning to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the Ginza store's opening. With the theme of "luxury and familiarity," Matsuya Ginza will be offering four special products that can only be enjoyed here, using domestic meat such as Kobe beef and domestic rice .

"Kobe Beef Rice Meat Large" 1,700 yen Matsuya Ginza limited

This Matsuya collaboration beef bowl uses Kobe beef, a wagyu brand that Japan is proud of, and the beef bowl sauce is an original blend that brings out the best in the flavor of the Kobe beef.
This is an exquisite dish that uses domestically produced rice, onions, and the accompanying pickled ginger.

"Domestic Japanese Black Beef Tomato Hamburger" 1,300 yen Matsuya Ginza exclusive

This is the premium version of the popular "Uma Toma Hamburger". The hamburger is made with domestic Japanese Black Beef and is topped with a soft-boiled egg made with "Maximum Koi Tamago", known for its rich yolk. The hamburger remains soft even when cooled, and is uniquely blended to bring out the flavor of the Japanese Black Beef. The Uma Toma Sauce is an original flavor that is formulated to bring out the flavor of the tomato more clearly and match the hamburger.



"Rich Tonteki from Snow Country" 1,300 yen Matsuya Ginza exclusive

This hearty item uses 150g of domestic pork, which is raised in snowy regions and is characterized by its sweet fat and soft meat. It is made with Matsuya's original pork steak sauce, and goes great with rice. The fried garlic topping, made with garlic from Aomori Prefecture, adds an accent to the dish.

In addition, many other long-established Ginza brands and first-time brands will be exhibited at the food fair.

Ginza Yoshizawa "Matsusaka beef minced cutlet" 501 yen (1 piece)

This special minced meat cutlet is made using 100% A5 rank Matsusaka beef from Ginza Yoshizawa, a sukiyaki restaurant run by a meat connoisseur who is also a wholesaler at the Tokyo Meat Market, and was founded as a butcher in 1924. The more you chew it, the more the meat juice overflows, allowing you to taste the original umami and sweetness of the ingredients.

Sendagi Koshizuka "Corned beef TKG (egg on rice)" 1,381 yen

Since its founding in Sendagi in 1949, Sendagi Koshizuka has produced its own meat products, including branded beef such as Matsusaka beef and Omi beef, as well as processed meat products such as ham and sausages.We have prepared Corned Beef and Raw Egg on Rice (TKG), which combines their signature product, homemade corned beef, with Nozawana greens and a soft-boiled egg.

Meat shop DELI Ushigura "Ozaki beef thigh steak bento (large portion)" 2,700 yen

We have prepared a luxurious steak bento box made with Ozaki beef from Gyuzo, a butcher shop that handles Ozaki beef raised by Ozaki Muneharu in Miyazaki Prefecture.

Meat Pork Sansui makes its debut at Matsuya Ginza

Shoufuku Shumai, a shumai specialty store from Kanuma, Tochigi, is offering juicy and satisfying meat shumai made with plenty of juicy domestic lean pork for the first time at Matsuya Ginza.
