The DNP Foundation for Cultural Promotion, a public interest incorporated foundation, will hold the "Japanese Art Direction Exhibition 2025" at the Ginza Graphic Gallery (ggg, Ginza, Tokyo) from Friday, October 31, 2025 to Saturday, November 29, 2025.
[About the "Japanese Art Direction Exhibition 2025"]
Founded in 1952, the Tokyo Art Directors Club (ADC) currently consists of 85 of Japan's leading art directors. The annual open exhibition, "Japan Art Direction Exhibition," is held with all members as judges. The "ADC Award," selected here, is an award that reflects the cutting edge of Japanese advertising and graphic design, and is attracting attention both from within Japan and overseas.
This year, ADC members conducted a rigorous screening process to select the winning works and works to be included in the yearbook from approximately 6,000 submitted works that were announced, used, or published between June 1, 2024, and May 31, 2025.
In advance of the April 2026 publication of "ART DIRECTION JAPAN / Japanese Art Direction" (formerly known as the "ADC Yearbook"), which will feature award-winning and outstanding works, ggg will now be showcasing these works.
