Comment from the artist
In Tokyo, which is filled with buildings, people, cars, light, and wind move through the gaps in the limited space.
It feels like being lost in a maze, and sometimes you feel anxious with no way out.
In this exhibition, I have superimposed "rod-shaped objects" as symbols of organic matter within the complex, overlapping inorganic structure of the city, expressing their strength and permanence. Walking down the narrow alleys between buildings, if you happen to look up, you will see white clouds drifting left and right across a fragment of blue sky. I believe that it is possible to free oneself from the oppressions of time and space, even in the middle of a large city. I hope that this exhibition will provide an opportunity to feel the strength of the individual as a human being.
