[Tokyo Midtown Hibiya] “HIBIYA LIVE FESTIVAL 2026,” an entertainment festival where you can feel the live atmosphere with your whole body, has announced a variety of programs to enjoy during Golden Week.

Details have been finalized for the inaugural "HIBIYA LIVE FESTIVAL in Hibiya Park"! This includes a talk event by Heralbony & Warabiza Theatre Company, performers for "Step Live," and additional works for "Step Show"!

Tokyo Midtown Hibiya (Yurakucho, Chiyoda-ku; Operator: Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd.) will host "HIBIYA LIVE FESTIVAL 2026," an urban festival where visitors can enjoy live entertainment such as theater and music in the open air of Hibiya, from April 25th (Sat) to May 31st (Sun). Details of "HIBIYA LIVE FESTIVAL in Hibiya Park," "Kangeki Gakko," "Step Live," and additional performances for "Step Show" have now been decided.

As a satellite venue for the "HIBIYA LIVE FESTIVAL," Hibiya Park will also host its first festival program. Enjoy gourmet food from dancyu Shokudo, Hibiya Matsumoto-ro, The Peninsula Tokyo, and more, while experiencing live performances by artists who have appeared on the popular American show "America's Got Talent" on the lawn. It's truly a festival experience that engages all five senses.

❷ A variety of learning opportunities at the "Kangeki School" with talk events and workshops featuring a star-studded lineup of instructors. The program includes a talk session by "Ihatov Theater," which has attracted attention as a collaboration between "Heralbony," a creative company combining "welfare x art x business," and "Warabi-za," a theater company based in Akita Prefecture, as well as a special event by ballerina comedian Keiko Matsuura and Obata no Onii-san.

❸ "Step Live," a vibrant stage connecting audiences with future performances, will be held again this year . Following last year's great success, "Step Live" will feature singers from the competition-style musical live show "SMASH CABARET," as well as musical trial performances from the young creator development project "Musical Next Seeds." Up-and-coming artists will also appear, delivering a vibrant live stage.

❹ Five additional performances have been added to "Step Show," a treasure trove of theater entertainment. Warabi-za, aiming to "create art that nourishes people's lives," and Heralbony, aiming to "realize a society where 8 billion unique individuals can live authentically," have collaborated to create the "Ihatov Theatre," a project that seeks to create a boundary-transcending "theatre experience." They will share the behind-the-scenes stories of the creation of this immersive musical project that combines art and digital technology.

"Ongakuza Musical," which continues to create original musicals, and "Gekidan Warabiza," based in Akita and focusing on traditional performing arts, will collaborate for the first time in a special talk session. These two theater companies, which have been creating their own unique stage productions for many years, will discuss the challenges and future of theater activities, and explore new possibilities as entertainment organizations, while overcoming difficulties and expanding their activities beyond just stage production.

"Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon -Shining Theater Shinagawa Tokyo-," an entertainment facility where you can experience the world of Naoko Takeuchi's original work "Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon," opened on April 4th, 2026 (Saturday). The musical "Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon" series boasts global popularity, with a tour of 18 cities overseas scheduled for 2025. Producers and others will discuss the appeal of this musical, the activities that have spread Japanese content to the world, and the behind-the-scenes challenges of creating a long-running stage production.

<Special Talk Event> Ballet and Musicals are Fun!

Popular ballerina comedian Keiko Matsuura, known for her "Ballet-related anecdotes," and musical theater star Obata no Onii-san will be appearing at Kangeki School! They will be holding a talk show designed to let many people know about the wonderfulness and enjoyment of ballet and musicals. Matsuura has launched "Kekke Ballet," a comedy ballet performance that fuses ballet and comedy, and at this talk event, she will deliver the charm of ballet along with laughter.

Musical workshops that expand the possibilities of voice and expression

Based on vocal and singing techniques cultivated through overseas training, this course progresses step-by-step from basic vocalization to musical theater-specific advanced vocal techniques, and vocal expression practice using actual musical songs. Through practical application, each participant will have the opportunity to discover new possibilities in their own voice and expression. Anyone who loves to sing, anyone who wants to seriously hone their expressive skills, and amateurs are all welcome.

"HiGH&LOW" has expanded into various fields, including dramas and films. In 2024, "HiGH&LOW THE Sengoku," a "warring states period action drama," was staged with a star-studded cast including Ryota Katayose and Maito Mizumi. This production is a completely new, alternative story based on "HiGH&LOW THE Sengoku." This stage will feature the first performance of songs from the main production, along with a talk session with scriptwriter and director Norihisa Hiranuma and cast members Hayato Onozuka and Keito Doi. In the 10th anniversary year of "HiGH&LOW," the brand new "HiGH&LOW THE Sengoku Gaiden" will fill everything with excitement in the summer of 2026.
