Within the ordinary scenes of everyday life and festivals, the small stories of nameless individuals quietly breathe life into. Focusing on such moments, and reflecting on the lives of people depicted by artists of the past, we continue to portray our own lives in the present.
This exhibition presents works that depict various human dramas, based on landscapes encountered throughout Japan, while tracing memories and experiences.
