Yamaha Corporation will renovate the 1st and 2nd floors of the Yamaha Ginza store, which operates in the Yamaha Ginza Building, and will offer a variety of participatory music experiences on October 23, 2020 (Friday). Will be newly opened.

The "brand experience area" that opens in the "Yamaha Ginza store", which is our flagship store and one of the largest general musical instrument stores in Japan, not only allows you to watch music and images, but also touches and feels sounds and music. It is a space where you can enjoy a variety of musical experiences.

With the theme of "meeting a new self," an exhibition that will be a new encounter with sound and music for a wide range of people who like music and are interested in music, regardless of gender, nationality, age, or music experience. On the first floor, which has an open atrium, there is a keyboard instrument "key between people" that anyone can play freely and enjoy music while having comfortable communication between the player and the audience. You can enjoy the video production linked with this on the 25-sided multi-large display on the wall *. There is also a cafe stand where you can easily drop in, and a unique "music table" where even people who cannot play musical instruments can easily play with sounds, making it a highly participatory space where everyone can enjoy the sounds and music. ..

A lounge space with original Yamaha-like menus such as narrative drinks and food developed with the motif of music culture. In the library of the annex, we have about 700 various books that stimulate curiosity and sensibility so that you can meet new people with sound and music. With the virtual live system "Real Sound Viewing" developed by our company, you can enjoy the live performance of up-and-coming artists. Encounters with sounds and music that you have never known or experienced are waiting for you.

A large display with 25 high-resolution monitors compatible with 8K is installed. We will project video content that conveys our brand promise "Make Waves" and images that are linked to "key between people" installed on the same floor *. The display is located in a position that can be seen through the window from Ginza Chuo-dori, and as an eye catcher of the Yamaha Ginza store, it sends out artistic information that is unique to Yamaha.

A table-type keyboard instrument designed as a form of comfortable communication between the performer and the audience. Anyone can easily enjoy the performance, and by arranging the bench around it, the player and the audience can spend a comfortable time together. In the future, we plan to hold live performances and remote sessions using "key between people" by artists.

Cafe stand "NOTES BY YAMAHA (1F Café Stand)"

It is a self-service cafe stand that offers a light meal menu associated with music. We offer a latte art menu with our logo mark, the tuning fork mark, and "dora-yaki", which is named after the musical instrument "dora". The menu is produced by Transit General Office Co., Ltd. Sustainability-friendly materials are used for the packaging. Takeout is also possible.

We will prepare original mocktails (non-alcoholic cocktails) associated with musicians and songs, and will provide them with a card that introduces the origin of the song and the episode of the composer.
