Matsuya Ginza will hold a Pokemon event "POKÉMON COLORS", which celebrated its 25th anniversary this year, from July 22, 2021. It will be held first in Matsuya Ginza, Tokyo, and then toured all over Japan, including Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture.

Pokemon started with the game software "Pokemon Red and Green" that was born in 1996. The game is a big hit with unprecedented elements of play, such as the collection of Pokemon and the communication of Pokemon communication exchanges and communication battles between friends. Since then, many series have been released, and the number of Pokemon has increased from 151 to more than 800. Furthermore, various media mixes such as card games, character commercialization, animation and movies have been developed, and it is still popular even after 25 years.

This exhibition is entitled "POKÉMON COLORS" and is an experience-based project where you can enjoy four activities and one installation with Pokemon. In the activity, Pokemon will appear on the screen through each experience, and the world you are experiencing will be flooded with colorful colors. In the installation, you can enjoy the appearance of Pokemon on the images on the monitors arranged in a circle, and the various colors overflowing in the venue with the production of light and sound. The logo mark and artwork were newly created with the theme of "COLORS" along with the unique world view of this project. The venue is designed with a circular design in mind, taking advantage of the large space. Through the activities, please experience the comfort of the venue being colored, mixed and resonating.

At the goods corner, we are planning to sell goods based on the original art of this exhibition.

Furthermore, at the Space of Ginza on the 1st floor of Matsuya Ginza, the Pokemon Center branch office will open for the first time for a limited time. We will sell Pokemon Center original products including the stuffed animal "Pokémon fit".

《①Design》 Logo mark artwork

The logo mark is symbolized with a monster ball motif as a symbol of this exhibition with the theme of "COLORS". The mixture of various colors is expressed by a transparent gradation, and the design is simple yet has a strong impact.
In addition, as with the logo mark, we also created an original Pokemon silhouette artwork. Multi-color graphics using various color gradations will be used not only for public relations materials such as posters and venue design, but also for the original goods of this exhibition.

COLORS ROAD

Ride a bicycle and follow the road on the experience screen, and press the button installed on the steering wheel at the timing when you pass the Pokemon. By layering with good rhythm, colorful colors will overflow in the world you are experiencing.

COLORS LAKE

Lower the rod into a quiet lake, wind the reel when you feel it, and lift the Pokemon. Every time you lift it, the world you are experiencing will be filled with colorful colors.

COLORS FOREST-Colors Forest-

When you shake the tree imitated with a balloon, the nuts will fall on the screen and hidden Pokemon will also appear. Every time a Pokemon appears, the world you are experiencing will be flooded with colorful colors.

COLORS CITY

When you throw the ball at the screen, the hidden Pokemon will pop out. Every time Pokemon appears, the city becomes more and more colorful and vivid.

COLORS CIRCLE-Colors Circle-

While using the artwork of this exhibition, it is an interactive part where Pokemon on the screen move across 12 monitors arranged side by side, and a circular installation where light and sound show parts flow regularly.
