◆ Three highlights of "Beauty Festival" in the fall of 2021

1. You can see many precious works without a glass case

Kashima Arts has valued the experience of directly touching the work since its inception. You can fully enjoy the charm unique to antique works of art, such as the appearance of the work that you can hardly feel through the glass, the brush strokes of the artist, the unique texture and aging beauty of paper and ink.

2. Full original catalog like an art book

An original catalog that Kashima Arts has been particular about. The column pages in the catalog, which have been well received by many people, have been prepared with substantial contents this time as well.

In "Art Interview", where a special guest is invited to talk, we invite Professor Toshinobu Yasumura, who is involved in numerous exhibitions and excavations as the director of the Hokusai-kan Museum, to captivate art lovers around the world. I asked about the charm. Also, in "Sakuyorigatari", a discussion about the painting of a tiger in the Edo period by Nobuhisa Kaneko, a curator of the Fuchu Art Museum, is posted. In "People who support Japanese art," Tetsuo Terashima, the chairman of the Kisuiken Memorial Culture Promotion Foundation, talked about the joy of creating and nurturing a collection of early modern paintings. It's like an art book that art fans can enjoy as a reading material. If you apply for a new application, we will give you a free catalog, so please feel free to contact us.
