Miniature photographer and modeler Tatsuya Tanaka will combine diorama dolls and MUJI products to hold an exhibition of miniature works and photographs that resemble everyday scenery. From Mr. Tanaka's unique point of view, MUJI products used in everyday life are likened to everyday scenes that many people have seen, making it a work of art that everyone can enjoy.

In this exhibition, 14 types of miniature works will be exhibited, and in addition to Gallery 1, the Open MUJI space on the 4th floor will feature the streets of Ginza, such as the Kabukiza Theater, Wako, and long-established confectionery stores, and the scenery full of visitors. At the front desk of MUJI HOTEL GINZA, which is on the same floor as ATELIER MUJI GINZA, two types of works will be displayed, including a futon that resembles a snowy mountain. In addition, photos will be displayed on each floor of the store in conjunction with the products used in the works.

This is a special exhibition that focuses on "confectionery", one of the Japanese food cultures, and conveys the richness and charm of everyday sweets made from simple ingredients. Japanese sweets have developed by making use of the ingredients nurtured by the climate of each region and being linked to the local culture. Japanese confectionery, which makes use of a small variety of ingredients and creates a rich world with technology, wisdom and ingenuity, can be considered the origin of rich food.

In this exhibition, with the cooperation of chef Tomoko Nagao, 78 confectionery stores nationwide cooperated, and the usual sweets that have been loved for a long time will be exhibited, and the blessings of nature and the power of ingredients will be exhibited. Stare again. About 80 kinds of sweets, such as "dorayaki", "rice crackers", and local sweets, will be used with photos and videos, and the stories related to the sweets and the thoughts of the creators will be explored. Also, during the exhibition, you can enjoy several types of sweets from the exhibition at the Salon and a tea set selected by Mr. Nagao to match the sweets.
