·overview

Yukino Yamanaka was born in Nagano Prefecture in 1999 and graduated from Kyoto University of the Arts in 2023 with a major in oil painting.
The theme of Yamanaka's work is to compose and consider his own body and the existence of others, which are exposed to unprecedented change, through motifs, photographs, supports, various layers, and his own perspective. .
In the past, he used to depict the flesh of the flesh in a concrete way, but over time his style has changed to something more abstract. With bold, smooth brushstrokes and dripping paint, the female figure is intentionally and accidentally drawn, giving the viewer room to imagine and to imagine her existence.
This exhibition presents four new works. Please take a look at the works that make you feel the fragility and strength that exist in the venue.

・Artist statement

He creates paintings that make us imagine the original appearance of the image at the moment when the drawn image separates from the texture of the motif due to the movement of the viewpoint in the physical and information space that occurs in the production process.
