■ What is “Evangelion Thanksgiving”?
This is a charity event in which a portion of the sales will be donated to conservation activities to convey the culture of anime tokusatsu to future generations.
At the event, long-term storage items of Evangelion affiliated companies will be sold for charity, and part of the sales will be donated to anime and special effects preservation activities.
Many of the items on sale have already been discontinued and are now difficult to obtain. It also includes not-for-sale items and sample items that are not normally offered for sale. However, this time, with the understanding of the copyright holders, we will hold an event sale based on the purpose of supporting the archive business that leaves the culture of anime and special effects to future generations.
At this event, which will be held for the third time in Yurakucho Marui, in addition to the exhibition of valuable materials such as cels and original drawings of "Neon Genesis Evangelion" preserved by the certified NPO Anime Tokusatsu Archive Organization (ATAC), as a special event , Gallery talks and cel-tressing machine experiences, and other opportunities to experience some of ATAC's activities.
