The cafe will begin operations on Saturday, June 1, 2024, with three core businesses: cafe, weddings, and events.
Felice Garden Hibiya, operated by Meguro Gajoen Co., Ltd., will reopen on Saturday, June 1, 2024 after undergoing approximately nine months of restoration and repair work.
Felice Garden Hibiya (formerly the Park Museum) is a historical building in the German bungalow style built in 1910 (Meiji 43) as a park management office in a corner of Hibiya Park, the first Western-style park in Japan. It has been open to the public since 1964 (Showa 39), and in 1990 (Heisei 2) it was designated a tangible cultural property of Tokyo as one of the few modern Western-style buildings from the Meiji period. While the Tokyo Metropolitan Government publicly solicited preservation and utilization businesses and maintained and utilized the building, Felice Garden Hibiya has been operated since 2006 (Heisei 18), mainly focusing on wedding business. With the expiration of the term of office in 2023 (Reiwa 5), a new business was selected through public solicitation, and Meguro Gajoen Co., Ltd. was once again selected as the business operator. Felice Garden Hibiya will reopen on Saturday, June 1st.
In light of the challenges we have faced in operating the facility and changes in the external environment, we will focus on three main businesses – the cafe, wedding business, and event business – to open the former park museum to as many people as possible and promote the appeal of the facility, including the adjacent plaza.

What is Felice Garden Hibiya?
This German bungalow-style house connects people and creates smiles through authentic garden weddings in cultural heritage architecture located in Hibiya Park, Japan's first Western-style park, 121 years after its founding, a cafe where you can relax and enjoy the leisurely flow of time while thinking about its historical background, and events held in a garden of happiness surrounded by the scent of plants and the chirping of birds. Built in 1910 (Meiji 43) as the park's management office, it was designated a tangible cultural property of Tokyo in 1990 (Heisei 2) as one of the few modern Western-style buildings from the Meiji period.
