“Sorachiace” is a hop that Sapporo Beer developed in Sorachi-gun, Hokkaido in 1984 and went to the United States. It has gained popularity in the United States because it has a layered aroma reminiscent of lemons, conifers, and herbs that was not found in previous US hops.
As a product that uses this "Solachi Ace", we will introduce the "Brooklyn Sorachi Ace", a brand of Brooklyn Brewery (New York, CEO Eric Ottaway / President Robin Ottaway), a leading craft beer maker in the United States in 2019. Since February, Sapporo Beer has been selling “Innovative Brewer SORACHI1984” (hereinafter “SORACHI1984”) since April 2019. This collaboration event was realized from the common desire of both companies that more and more customers would like to know more about the Japanese-born hop called “Sorachiace”.
