We provide an opportunity for them to experience the splendor of contemporary art and become familiar with it.

In 2021, we published the art card game "PLAY! Tagukore", which is a card-sized work of the Taguchi Art Collection, with the aim of getting familiar with contemporary art while playing. Art cards are characterized by the fact that children and adults can easily get familiar with art works, such as talking about their favorite works while looking at the cards and searching for commonalities between the works. In recent years, it has been attracting attention as a teaching material for "interactive appreciation" that is conducted as one of appreciation education in museums. "PLAY! Tagukore" can be enjoyed by all ages as an introduction to contemporary art, fostering an attitude of continuing to face "the ability to make words," "the ability to read," "the ability to listen," and "questions without answers." Recommended goods.

In this exhibition held to commemorate the publication of "PLAY! Tagukore", the works of artists Hiraku Suzuki, Satoru Aoyama, and Go Watanabe, whose works are stored in the Taguchi collection, will be exhibited and sold, as well as the works of the Taguchi collection. Taguchi Art Collection <br /> The Taguchi Art Collection is an art collection consisting of approximately 600 contemporary art works from around the world (as of March 2022), collected by Hiroshi Taguchi, the founder of the Misumi Group, from around 2000. Although it is a private collection, we carry out collection activities on the premise that it will be open to the public, and hold exhibitions in various places in response to requests from museums nationwide. Miwa, the eldest daughter, has participated in the operation since 2013, and has inherited the management of the collection that is currently expanding. Not only Japanese and Western artists, but also works by artists from emerging countries such as Asia, Latin America, and Africa are quickly collected, and due to their quality and diversity of activities, they are highly evaluated internationally as a contemporary art collection that represents Japan. I have received it. Recently, I am also focusing on activities that serve as a bridge between art and education, such as taking my work to elementary and junior high schools and holding a "delivery exhibition".

Naofumi Maruyama
Born in Niigata Prefecture in 1964, lives in Tokyo. He continues to be active on the front lines as one of Japan's important painters since the 1990s. Maruyama's work, which uses a staining technique in which acrylic paint is soaked in a cotton cloth containing water, has a soft and melted motif, and the time and place are unclear. The boundaries are also removed, inviting those who see to a place that is completely integrated with the painting. Maruyama's pictorial expression is extremely theoretical and sincerely created by the exploration and practice of "the possibility of space that occurs only inside the painting." Since 2000, he has been a professor in the Department of Oil Painting, Faculty of Art and Design, Musashino Art University. Received the 2008 Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Newcomer Award. Major exhibitions include "Lasco and the Weather" Shugo Arts (Tokyo, 2018), "Ryu" Wooson Gallery (Obe, 2017) "GROUND2 Talking about Paintings-Talking about the Look" Musashino Museum of Art Library (Tokyo 2016), " "Niigata Creation" (Niigata, 2014), "Ukifune" Toyoda City Museum of Art (Aichi, 2011), "Transparent Feet" Shugo Arts (Tokyo, 2010), "Naofumi Maruyama – Front of the Back" Meguro Museum of Art (Tokyo, 2008) ), "Portrait Session" Hiroshima City Museum of Contemporary Art (Hiroshima, 2007), "Hidden Flowers" Mori Museum (Tokyo, 2005), "Happiness: Happiness in Art" Mori Museum (Tokyo, 2003), "Taipei Biennale" "Taipei Private Museum (Taipei, 2002)," MOT Annual "Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Contemporary Art (Tokyo, 1999)," 8th India Triennale "(New Delhi, 1994), Saya Gallery Solo Exhibition (Tokyo, 1992), etc.

Suzuki Hiraku
Born in 1978. Artist. With the theme of the relationship between drawing and language, he is engaged in production activities such as planes, sculptures, videos, installations, and performances. Through the act of excavating linear events latent in the environment, we are exploring the extensibility of drawings in modern space-time. He stayed in the United States with the support of the Asian Cultural Council in 2011-2012, and in Germany with the support of the Pola Art Foundation in 2012-2013. So far, 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa (Ishikawa, 2009), Mori Museum (Tokyo, 2010), Vrotslaw Museum of Architecture (Poland, 2015), Ginkawa Museum of Contemporary Art (China, 2016), MOCO Panacée (France, 2019) ), Participated in numerous exhibitions at museums in Japan and overseas such as the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo (Tokyo, 2019-2020). Since 2016, he has presided over "Drawing Tube", a platform for drawing research. He also collaborates with different fields such as musicians and poets and works on public art. Major works include "GENGA" (2010) and "SILVER MARKER-Drawing as Excavating" (2020). Currently, Associate Professor of Global Art Practice, Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts.

Satoru Aoyama
Born in Tokyo in 1973. He graduated from the Textile Department of Goldsmith College, London in 1998, earned a Master of Fine Arts degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2001, and is currently based in Tokyo. Using industrial sewing machines, he has released a number of works that expand the frame of the media of embroidery while continuing to question the ever-changing humanity and the value of labor since modernization. Major exhibitions in recent years include 2019 "Unfolding: Fabric of Our Life" (Center for Heritage Arts & Textile, Hong Kong), "The Lonely Laborer" (Mizuma Art Gallery, Tokyo), 2020 "Dress Code?- "Games of Wearers" (Tokyo Opera City Gallery), "Re construction Reconstruction" (Nerima Ward Museum, Tokyo), "Forefront of Contemporary Art-From Taguchi Art Collection-" (Shimoseki City Museum, Yamaguchi), etc. be.

Go Watanabe
Born in Hyogo prefecture in 1975. Lives in Tokyo. While enrolled in the graduate school of Aichi Prefectural University of the Arts, he began to explore the possibilities of works using 3DCG. In 2002, he released the work "Face", in which a human skin image was pasted on a face composed of polygons, and developed it into the "Face (" Portrait ")" series. From around 2009, while using the same method, the motif is moved to books, tableware, rooms, etc. around the artist himself, and the familiar landscape moves away from material restrictions and optical laws and shows changes. I'm making an animation. In recent years, the exhibition space has been regarded as a place that is extended from animation, and the range of expression has been expanded by presenting installation works of multiple channels. The inconsistent state of things and the behavior of light that the work brings disturbs the world that we usually see as trivial, and quietly asks what we are seeing. Major exhibitions include "Countermeasures for Awkward Conversations-From the Viewpoint of the Third Wave Feminise", 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa (Kanazawa, 2021-2022), "13th Ebisu Video Festival Video Feelings E-MOTION GRAPHIC" Tokyo Municipal Museum of Photography (Tokyo, 2021), solo exhibition "Go Watanabe Dislocation" Yokohama Civic Gallery Azamino (Kanagawa, 2017), "Logical Emotion-Japanese Contemporary Art" (2014-2015) touring Switzerland, Poland and Germany Year), "Aichi Triennale 2013: Shaking Land" Aichi Museum of Art (Aichi, 2013), "Carpe Diem Living Today as Death" Toyota Municipal Museum of Art (Aichi, 2012), "Cosmic Travelers-Journey to the Unknown" Espace Louis Vuitton (Tokyo, 2012) etc. In 2013, he received the 24th Goshima Memorial Culture Award for New Artist, stayed in Finland for about a year as an overseas training for the award, and was selected as the finalist of The APB Foundation Signature Art Prize in 2014.
