The Japan Graphic Design Association (abbreviated as JAGDA), which was established in 1978, is currently the largest design organization in Asia with about 3,000 members, and publishes the yearbook "Graphic Design in Japan" and publishes exhibitions and seminars. We are engaged in various activities to improve the communication environment through design, such as holding, design education, efforts for public design and regional promotion, and international exchange.
In addition, every year, the "JAGDA New Face Award" is awarded to promising graphic designers (39 years old or younger) who are expected to be active in the future from among the exhibitors of "Graphic Design in Japan". Since 1983, this award has produced 119 designers who are now active on the front lines as a gateway to designers, and has attracted the attention of people involved in design and advertising.
This time, which is the 40th time, as a result of strict selection from the 137 newcomer award recipients, three people, Taku Sasaki, Miori Takeda, and Shoichi Maehara, were selected. In this exhibition, award-winning works and recent works will be exhibited, focusing on posters and products.
Taku Sasaki
Born in Tokyo in 1985. Graduated from Tama Art University, Department of Product Design in 2008, and joined KOKUYO in the same year. Work on design work while crossing planes and solids, such as product brand planning and design, space sign planning, corporate branding, etc. Major awards include Tokyo ADC Award, GOOD DESIGN AWARD Gold Award / BEST100, RED DOT DESIGN AWARD, KOKUYO DESIGN AWARD, etc. https://kanaisasaki.com/

Miori Takeda Miori Takeda
Born in Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture in 1986. Graduated from the Department of Graphic Design, Tama Art University, and has been a member of Shiseido Creative Headquarters since 2011.
