This exhibition will serve as an opportunity to realize the "comfortable life and society" that MUJI is aiming for. The aim is to reaffirm the joy of meeting people, the joy of gathering, and the importance of being involved. The title of this exhibition was named "Tsuzuru" as a theme that expresses the spiritual universality of mutual enrichment through interaction between people.

"WONDER FULL LIFE" is a vision that has never been seen before, where creators and artists working independently in different fields such as metalworking, dyeing and weaving, ceramics, clothing, photography, music, and words meet. This is a creative project by Ms. Chikako Owaki, who repeatedly engages in dialogue while noticing this, giving form to her senses and impulses.

In this exhibition, Mr. Owaki has carefully inherited the materials from the creators, such as mud dyeing that has been handed down from ancient times, brass that has been forged and shaped, pottery that breathes rich soil, and fragments of earthenware. We will introduce archive works such as wall hangings, pottery, and photographs. In addition, there will be a huge tapestry newly produced for this exhibition, in which Mr. Owaki woven various strings with the “sense” that was born when Mr. Owaki confronted the artist.

WONDER FULL LIFE Chikako Owaki

Host of WONDER FULL LIFE. In 2005, she launched her own brand "Kitica", and started a kids brand "cokitica" when she gave birth. In 2016, after the brand activity was suspended, "WONDERFULL LIFE" was started as a new creative activity. Collaborating with domestic and foreign creators in various fields such as dyeing, ceramics, brass, lacquer, and textiles, we develop fashion, products, and art objects. He is involved in a wide range of activities, including holding exhibitions and events, creating original works, presenting books, and performing live.
