【CIBONE】A pop-up event featuring glass jewelry from three brands will be held at CIBONE CASE (Ginza).

We have selected glass jewelry from three brands: "shisui," "Gleichenia," and "LULI LAMPWORK." Enjoy the unique charm of glass jewelry from each brand, even though they all use the same material.

Starting Saturday, April 18th, a pop-up jewelry exhibition focusing on glass jewelry from the jewelry brands "shisui," "Gleichenia," and "LULI LAMPWORK" will be held at CIBONE CASE (Ginza).

These glass jewelry pieces are captivating with their translucent, cool, and dignified sparkle. Each piece is unique, handcrafted using the artisans' hand-blowing and processing techniques, giving them the presence of a small, exquisite object.
This pop-up store brings together glass jewelry from three up-and-coming brands. While all are made of glass, the concept, design, and techniques create completely different impressions. We invite you to experience the charm of glass jewelry.

Shisui, a glass jewelry brand with a water theme.

"shisui" is a jewelry brand that uses glass, metal, and other materials to create pieces based on the theme of water. Using the lampworking technique, they develop expressions that capture the fluid nature of water as a fixed form of glass.

<shisui>
We bring to life the diverse forms of water through different materials such as glass and metal.
Water, constantly changing its form, is connected to our lives, our thoughts, our ideologies, our emotions, and their expression. We are born from water and return to water. There is water within us, and there is water all around us. We fit together the pieces of the story of water, an unchanging, cyclical entity.

Gleichenia, a jewelry unit with a background in sculpture and spatial thinking.

Gleichenia is a contemporary jewelry unit formed by Kanako Ikegaya, who studied sculpture, and Yu Ikegaya, who studied spatial design. Using the pâte de verre technique, they create glass expressions based on sculptural and spatial thinking.

<Gleichenia>
Gleichenia is a contemporary jewelry unit based in Tokyo, formed by Kanako Ikegaya, who studied sculpture in the UK, and Yu Ikegaya, who studied spatial design. The name Gleichenia comes from the scientific name of the auspicious urajiro fern, and the paired leaves are seen as an expression where the perspectives of art and design overlap, with the aim of weaving new stories.
Just as spores sprout in new soil and nurture life, we explore expressions that embrace a way of life unbound by origin or values. Going beyond traditional boundaries, we experiment with diverse materials and techniques, continuously pursuing new possibilities in jewelry.

Glass jewelry made using the glass bead technique.

LULI LAMPWORK is a jewelry brand from a Berlin-based design studio. It features decorative glasswork with linear patterns, created by using the techniques of glass bead making, twisting and wrapping multiple colored glass pieces together.

<LULI LAMPWORK>
These glass bead jewelry pieces are by EETY studio, a design studio established in Berlin in 2018. Created entirely by hand by one craftsman and two designers, using time-honored glass bead manufacturing techniques. Treating glass as a textile, they use a simple method of "winding molten glass onto a rod to form a bead," twisting and wrapping multiple colors of glass like threads, expressing the resulting patterns.
LULI is an old Japanese word meaning colored glass or precious gem.
