Design Taku Satoh & TSDO
The design company "TSDO" led by Taku Sato has pioneered the possibilities of design in various situations with its unique system that constantly draws out potential from a given environment. It seems to be different from the style thinking that emphasizes the unique expression that was once a graphic designer image.
On the other hand, Taku Satoh personally holds regular solo exhibitions at the gallery and continues to voluntarily present his works. It's like public and private, outside and inside, objective and subjective, other and spontaneous, design and art, but they are interrelated rather than separated. I also think.
In this exhibition, on the 1st floor, mainly works that Sato has voluntarily produced since the 2004 ggg Taku Sato exhibition will be exhibited. Then, we will exhibit the design work that has been involved as TSDO in the basement, and for the first time, you will see the two sides contrasted. The common keyword there is "in LIFE". The meaning that everything is in the ordinary life is put here.
Through this exhibition, I would like you to rediscover "designing" not as something special above the clouds, but as something close to you in your daily life.
