Atelier Bettys Co., Ltd. operates a kitchen linen and flower shop "bêtises". With the mission of "creating a thrilling life," the three mothers and daughters started an online shop in March 2021, and on Sunday, April 24, 2022, the first store was opened on the B1 floor of Tokyu Plaza Ginza.

・ Flower arrangement made from vases-What is Cartonnage flower-
Marina Otsuka, the representative of Atelier Bettys Co., Ltd., established an original style called "Cartonage Flower" in 2017 and attracted attention by exhibiting at art exhibitions in Japan and overseas.
"Cartonage Flower" is a handmade work that combines the traditional French techniques "Cartonage" and "Flower Arrangement". Cartonage is a warm handmade technique that originated in France around the 18th century and is finished by pasting cloth or paper on a box assembled from thick paper.
At Betty's, we combine flower arrangements with cartonnage vases made one by one from cloth and paper purchased in Europe and sell them as unique interiors.
Cartonnage vases that can be used because they do not require water create a warm atmosphere that is different from glass and pottery vases.

The Betty's Ginza store, which opened on April 24, 2022, will hold a monthly workshop where you can feel free to experience Betty's "Cartonage Flower".
You can create a 100% original flower interior by choosing the cloth and paper used for "Cartonage" and the flower materials used for "Flower Arrangement" by yourself.
The experience of making everything from flower vases by hand will fascinate the hearts of all craftsmen, regardless of their experience in flower arrangements.
You can enjoy the finished Cartonnage flower by decorating it for about 5 to 10 years.

・ Technique 1: "Cartonage experience"
In the "Cartonage" experience, which is a traditional French technique, you will be asked to choose your favorite material from more than 10 types of cloth and paper selected by Betty's and make a vase.
・ Technique # 2: "Flower arrangement experience"
You will also arrange your own vase using flower materials centered on "preserved flowers" that also originated in France. You can enjoy the original arrangement by choosing from more than 20 kinds of various flower materials selected by Betty's.
