“Imamiya”, a specialty store specializing in high-end wine and premium whiskey, will have its grand opening on Monday, June 24th in Ginza 7-chome

Selead Group Co., Ltd. will be grand opening “Ima-mi,” a specialty store specializing in the premium range of carefully selected alcoholic beverages (wine, whiskey, sake) as well as traditional Japanese sake vessels such as Edo Kiriko glass.

"The finest sake and sake cups to brighten up your life"
"Kami" offers carefully selected wines, whiskeys, sake, and traditional Japanese crafts such as Edo Kiriko glass, with the concept of "a place to encounter valuable things that transcend time." The store's name expresses the desire to "deliver valuable experiences to the present and future."

wine cellar

The walk-in wine cellar, which holds about 700 bottles, offers a wide selection of rare and hard-to-find wines from traditional wine-producing regions such as Burgundy and Bordeaux, as well as innovative wines from New World producers. As for whiskey, we have a world-class lineup of whiskeys from famous distilleries around the world, as well as a wide selection of Japanese whiskeys.
Inspired by the theme of "time" that is common to wine, whiskey, and traditional crafts, the bar counter is made of copper, which changes over time, and will host wine and whiskey tasting events on an irregular basis.

Private room

At the back of the store, we have a private room that can accommodate up to six people, where you can relax and enjoy your purchased drinks in a private space. (We plan to operate this as a members-only space in the future.)

At the store, staff dressed in kimonos will greet you with warm hospitality. Support is available in Japanese, English, Chinese, and French, so customers from overseas can feel at ease.

·wine

From long-established wineries to up-and-coming rising stars, we have a selection of rare and valuable wines that are generally considered difficult to obtain. We also have a wide selection of collector's items that are popular with wine lovers around the world. We offer a high-end range selection consisting of iconic long-established wineries representing each of the famous wine-producing regions of Europe and the New World, with a focus on Burgundy and Bordeaux in France, cult wines from California, and more. We offer a selection of products in the premium price range, which is unparalleled in Tokyo, including champagne.

·whiskey

While stocking a world-class lineup of famous distilleries from around the world, the store also has a wide selection of Japanese whiskeys, including Yamazaki, Hakushu, and Hibiki. There are also many highly worthy investments, including rare sets that are rarely seen in stores, a special bottle collection made of Kutani ware, and items that are no longer in production and are in limited supply (Karuizawa).

・Other <br /> We have a lineup of rare and carefully selected products from each category, including sake, brandy, and tequila. (Sake: Juyondai, cognac: limited prestige collection with very limited production (Hennessy Paradis, Hennessy Richard), tequila: Clase Azul, etc.)

・Sakeware

Tokyo focuses on Edo Kiriko, a traditional craft that represents Edo. We have carefully selected five crafts shops run by master craftsmen with their own unique characteristics, from long-established shops led by Japan's leading masters to new makers. We have also created a boxed set of 12 sake cups and glasses bearing the names of the twelve Chinese zodiac animals, as original custom-made products that can only be purchased at Konami.
Edo Kiriko was designated as a traditional craft by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government in 1985, and was recognized as a traditional craft by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry in 2002.

The wine glasses on offer are mainly from Kimura Glass, founded in 1910 and renowned for their design. In addition, they also sell glasses made in collaboration with Riedel and Kaburaki Shoho, a long-established Kutani ware store, which are popular as gifts. This special series combines a Riedel glass bowl with a Kutani ware stem hand-painted by an artist. In addition, they also offer a limited number of glasses made exclusively for Domaine de la Romanée-Conti (DRC), designed to bring out the rich aroma and flavor of DRC to the fullest.

<Grand Opening Special Tasting>
To mark the grand opening, a special tasting of rare Burgundy wines will be held.
Further details and application procedures will be provided on the store's website and Instagram at a later date.
Event dates: June 24th (Mon) – June 30th (Sun)
