GINZAZA is a series of programs in which the small space of a Sony Park Mini in an underground parking lot in Ginza, Tokyo becomes a "playground for short films" with only eight seats that stimulates the senses. We will create a place where you can casually enjoy short films in a casual atmosphere while delving into short films with a different theme each time.

In the second "GINZAZA Edition 2", works curated under the theme of "control" will be screened for 15 days. There are many levels of “control” all around us. I would like you to freely feel the various nuances of the word "control" while following the emotional movements of the characters depicted in the play and the lights and sounds that color the screen.

The curators are New York and Tokyo-based film director MoMA, Film Forum, who directs, shoots, and produces numerous short films, documentaries, promotional videos, and concert films. Aiko Masubuchi, a guest curator at In addition, Norimi Idonuma, the leader of Hada Keru Ray, who continues to focus on film screenings and writing, is participating in the curation for this second edition. The screening lineup consists of nine selected short films from around the world. Notable works such as animations and documentaries, as well as works that won the Palme d'Or in the short film category at the "Cannes International Film Festival" are available. In addition, we have prepared a Q&A video for the director, who was well received at the previous GINZAZA, for all works.

Admission is a ticket system on the day, 100 yen per work, there are 8 seats, and ticket sales will start at Sony Park Mini 30 minutes before each screening. Weekdays Monday to Friday 10:00 to 19:00, one work per hour, weekend Saturday and Sunday 10 works are categorized into three concepts, three times at 11:00 / 14:00 / 17:00 It will be screened separately. At GINZAZA this time, after studying various design techniques in the United States, graphic designer Rei Masaki, who has moved to Tokyo since 2017, will be showing the world premiere of the original video produced by Rei Masaki.

Team GINZAZA became interested in this story and launched the "Watermelon Wari Movie Project" to turn his imagination into reality.

The content of the project is to recreate a scene from the sci-fi comedy film "Kin the Wonderland" (directed by Georgy Danelia, USSR, 1986) without the director seeing the actual footage. . Mr. Masaki, who has no directing experience, makes a movie based only on the script materials handed to him by the GINZAZA team. bottom.
